OK - it's official! You're nuts! That water looks FREEZING!!! Great job with the sp - but maybe next year you'd like to go to Florida?? #213005

Should be in Field and Stream!! Excellent work, Bob, worth all the effort!!!! #1088455

Bob Cammarata February 07, 2005

Thanks Diane and Janet for your kind words.
The water was around 33 degrees that day, but I was quite comfortable in those chest-high waders.
With air temps in the low 20's, it's actually WARMER to stand in the water than on land...(as long as you fall in or spring a leak.)
As far as my being nuts,...I think the jury came in with the verdict on that one a long time ago. ;)

That's a great shot! Fab composition and definite points for bravery-- hip waders or not! (I'm a canadian, so I know all about cold waters lol).

Good job! #1089066

Wow! I love this shot, and I want to join you sometime ... I don't run into too many people who want to have this kind of "fun" ...! #1089820

Bob Cammarata February 07, 2005

Thanks Stephanie for your nice comments.
(Though some would argue that a fine line could be drawn between "fun" and borderline insanity.) ;)
