Thank you both very much, I greatly appreciate your comments and hope that you will perhaps visit my gallery. This image was taken at a tiny village called Gorran Haven which is just a few miles from my birth place in Cornwall, England. My wife and I return to Cornwall each year on vacation and many of my images have nostalgic memories of my childhood. I now live in central Illinois which is about as far from the ocean as one could be in the USA and I do miss the sea very much.

Thanks very much Jim. I think your response was posted just as I replied to Karu and Ann. I am already thinking about next summer's vacation back in Cornwall; it is such a photogenic county and holds a lifetime of memories and nostalgia for me.
