Grabber shot, although this was also taken during the parade. Laying flowers at the Freedom Monument in Riga is an important part of Latvian culture, as this monument is like our Statue of Liberty. During the parade, one member of each fraternity/sorority approached the monument to place flowers there, and I tried to catch them in the process of doing so. I intentionally used a shallow depth of field to get the background blur.
