Description

Well, it's been a crazy week at work and I haven't been able to shoot so these are file images. This is one of my favorite images, it is very mysterious to me. It was taken just before sunrise in a thick fog at the top of a mountain in North Carolina. Moments like these are why I do photography regardless of whether or not I produce a good image.
We live in an age when science and technology seem to have an answer for everything but the mystery and wonder is all gone. I think we are drawn to wild places to experience that wonder and to photography because it's the best or only way to communicate the ineffible experience of awe.

Exif: Model: Nikon COOLSCAN V ED
