Poor Man's Infrared

Uploaded: October 01, 2008

Description

Fuji s5200 and an Opteka infrared r-72 filter; A very dark filter used tripod for slow shutter speed, was very nicely surprised that it worked. Don't know if it will work with other cameras, but will experiment as time allows. According to the advertisement the filter may make some clothes dissappear leaving bare skin to be observed. Not the reason I bought it but may happen, did not notice it yesterday, did experiment with myself.

A wonderful scene for IR, Manuel. You did GOOD! Your story is a hoot...but seems sort of like some "gotcha" that one of my brothers would try to pull on me!! #6536552

Love the way this turned out, Manuel. The darkness in the foreground and light beyond is beautiful. And love the person sitting on the bench. Cool effect with the filter. #6537454
