I am so excited about this photograph that I wanted to share it. I am heading out to the Colorado Rockies next weekend just to take photographs and hopefully catch some autumn colors beginning and one objective that I have is to take a "reflection in the water". I found this little pond at a corner park and practiced. I set my exposure and focused on the reflection. I also found that you can focus at the base where the reflection and the material reflected meet. I like how the ripples in the water gave the tree a Monet-like effect.

Taken about 640pm clear evening, camera in manual mode, no flash, no tripod, ISO 100, 1/80 shutter speed, F8, WB manual, sunny.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 85.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
