Tattered but still beautiful

Uploaded: August 25, 2008

Description

The gorgeous dark bronze dragonfly with tattered wings caught my eye as I was looking for things to photograph on a Sunday afternoon. I toned down the background in hopes of making his coloring more apparent, as he blended in with all the dried wild flowers of the day.

Beautifully subtle shot! Limited color palette is wonderful. #986494

Thanks Jean. I had to do some editing in PS, so that the bronze beauty could be seen amongst all the dried wildflowers and weeds. He (or she)is definitely a beauty. #6370803
