Wow Jacob, this is awsome. You must love that 2.8 in a in situation like this . The angle of his wings are perfect and the bird is captured very sharply. You are really quick to the draw! Great shot! #18341

All I can say is WOW!!!. I love it!
What a shot to catch. I sat on the edge of the bay all day trying to catch an osprey taking a fish from the water. All I ever got was the drops of water and a fish tail LOL #105962

Thanks Lynda ~~ I wish I could say that I sat there patiently for hours; but this bird was seen on a branch as I drove by and I stopped because he was in a hunting mode (sort of twitching). As soon as he left the branch I started a burst and one of the frames is the one you see here. All taken through the open car window. Glad I had time to stop and grab camera.
