A parsley caterpillar in my garden greets me with a defensive posture that includes raising his head and showing me those orange "horns" (for lack of a better word). Macro lens. ISO 250, early evening. The photo won first place in the immatures category of the North American Butterfly Association's 2010 photo contest.
