The Future of Romania Description: This is my grabber shot, the story behind which is actually directly connected with this course. I was sitting at a street cafe in Romania, with a group of travelers that I had just met; it was right around the day that I had signed up for this course. I told them that I was a photographer, and they asked to see my pictures. After looking at them, one of the guys said "you're a great photographer, but I just have one criticism: there are no photos of people here!" I explained to him how I feel that I can't photograph people and that it is definitely one of my weak areas. At one point I took my camera to try to capture the beautiful twilight sky (not even noticing this girl). My friend said "which one (of the children) are you taking a picture of?" When I told him I was trying to shoot the sky he said, "no, no! the kids there! photograph one of them!" I suddenly saw them playing in the fountain, immediately shifted my focus, and shot, and this is what cam Uploaded on 8/17/2008 2:49:25 PM
