Back Lit by Morning Light

Uploaded: January 08, 2003

Description

I took this shot early one morning in my backyard. I liked the way the morning sun was coming from the back and side and tried to capture the texture of the flower. By using a zoom lens and shallow DOF, the background, which was grass and a pond, came out very dark. I liked the contrast of the flower's color against the dark background.

Thank you, Kelly and Carol. I found this shot on my computer when I was looking for shots to upload for an on-line course. I don't know why I never uploaded it before. #40176

Pat, I didn't find any of your photos, The last couple of days. Are they in there? Or I am just blind. This photo is beautiful. #44963

Thank you, Jeannie. I haven't uploaded anything for the past few days. I've been busy working, doing all the paperwork for my husband's business, and looking for ways to complete my assignments for the on-line class I'm taking. And, then, last night, my computer wouldn't work right. So I had to take it in. Should get it back tonight -- hopefully. #45155
