Birds Of Prey

We noticed for over a month two hawks soaring overhead and landing in our yard. They are just so magnificent to watch. My husband then saw one hawk soaring overhead with a mouse in it’s talons, at the moment from out of the tall grass in the field a hawk flew up and caught in mid air the mouse which had been dropped, then disappeared into the grass once again. We knew then there had to be little ones. We were careful not to disturb the little ones but just had to go take a look. Don’t worry the mother hawk kept an eye on us and figured out we were not going to harm her little ones.
Our two Grandchildren are on the way up for a visit from souther Maine, so I am not sure how much time I will have to comment on your photo's. We are so looking forward to seeing them. Have a wonderful day. Hope to be back soon. :)
