Description

This delighful young lady was playing a recorder at Fowey, Cornwall. Unfortunately by the time I get my camera out of my bag she had finished her last piece and was collecting the coins folk had given her and picking up her chair went home home for lunch.

Thanks Gail. She was about 7 or 8yrs old I would say. I was not able to fire off another shot as she walked off holding the little kindergarten size school chair in one hand and the bag, recorder and book of tunes in the other as the street was too crowded.

Hi Ellen, I think we all regret missing shots that are once in a lifetime opportunities. It is then we remember that we should have our cameras always at the ready and preferably set on automatic. These are no times for dithering around trying for perfection!
Of course I would have liked to have some shots of her with recorder to her lips but you have to play with the hand you are dealt. #6917070
