I really like this, Pete! I think the red on the dark background really sets it off, red and black being my all-time favorite color combination. I notice inside on the back it says Pieces of Eight, really neat. A lovely capture and presentation!

Thanks Jim. Would you say the owner is extra cautious judging by the number of fenders hanging over the side! But I don't blame him as this is a wonderful example of a wooden, clinker built boat which has so much more character than any fibreglass one.
Ever anxious to educate and be educated- for those that are not familiar with boatbuilding; "clinker built" is where overlapping planks of wood are fastened to wooden ribs which can be seen inside the boat.

Maybe this is a Safty First shot. I really like the red on the boat it really pops. Makes me rember growing up in Cape Cod. This is a Great shot #6338160
