Description

She died with her head on my lap. Our girl ran fast, played rough and loved gently. She loved biscuits, belly rubs, walks, and romps in fresh snow. She didn't like thunder. She was the smartest dog I've ever known and lived life on her own terms, but she always made good choices. She was one of a kind and will live forever in our hearts. I love you, girl....

What a wonderful memorial. These dogs are the sweetest I have ever met. My parents currently have 5 of them and I can't imagine losing one. Wonderful detail and emotion in your image as well. #6142736

Thanks Agnes and Tamera. You're right.... rescued greyhounds make wonderful pets, and they are so easy to train into homelife... after they learn that they can't walk through glass :^) We've fostered many besides the two we adopted. Your parents are awesome to take in so many. #6142894

Linda - what a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl. Greyt capture of the depth of her eyes. Greyhounds make such wonderful companions - we have 3 and my parents have 3. #6245146

What a great tribute to a beautiful girl. I hope the pain of loss is easing for you. She was loved and gave her love but the pain of loss had to be intense!
I know that is how we feel about Sam. #6534444
