Description

Challenge #1 - 1b

Familiarize yourself with the camera LCD screen. Take a photo and look at the LCD screen. Make adjustments using the LCD screen as a guide and improve the subsequence photos.

I live in a rectangular shaped condo on the second floor of a four story building and the only windows are on the two short sides of the rectangle. I moved the elephant to a small tablet that was approximately 1 foot lower and 2 feet to the right of the original position. I set it on a blue placemat and against a red wall. I thought being so close to the window would give me enough natural light for a nice picture. After I looked at the LCD screen I could see that this idea was not going to work, it was about 3:22 pm. The only significant natural light that comes into my home is in the early evening so I decided to wait and see what happens. I was surprised that when direct sun hit the elephant I would get highlight blinking. I then noticed that one of my plants was making a nice pat
