Thank you all!! I visited my friend at CSU and she works with this guy. He was shot in the wing and can't fly anymore, I beleive. It was so amazing to be able to see a eagle this close up! I was about 4 ft away.Rachel Rocket August 05, 2005
Sharon,A beautiful creature (as evidenced by your other photos of him, too). I like this one best though - it's just an interesting perspective and I like the focus on his feet (which one rarely sees). Very neat bird and photo.

Thanks Rachel! I was glad I was able to capture this. I wish he would have been out side so I could have gotten a little closer. But than I would not have gotten the lighting effect either.
