These Canadian Geese had clear blue sky's before I replaced their background with "Dark Storm" from the "Light Fluffy Clouds filter and "Lightning" from the Alien Shin software Plug-in "Xenofex 2".
Since their original sky was a consistent pure baby blue, I just used Photoshop's "Magic Wand Tool with a Tolerance of 100 (Anti-aliased box checked) to select everything but the geese. I applied both Dark sky and Lightning, then inverted my selection or select the geese and duplicated them into another layer, where I used Alien Skins Eye-candy 4000 plug-in software filter "Corona" to illuminate the edges of the birds subtly. I've included the original if anyone's interested.

Awesome image and wonderful use of those effects, Brian! I have Xenofex 2 and Eye-Candy also, and I love those plug-ins. #911284
