Thankful for my only son

Description

Different pictures of my only son. He was killed in a car wreck at the age of 19 in 2000 All but one picture taken with one camera. All scanned and worked in Photo shop deluxe. Still have two beautiful daughters.

Thank you Julie. Justins dead was one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with. In the same year my dad died and one week later my husband of 27 years died.
I was home all alone when the two state troops came to my door and told me Justin had died. I just about lost it. It was one year to the day that my father died.I know life must go on but the pain of losing a child is the hardest thing anyone has to face. I wouldn't want any one to go through it but it happens everyday. We must cherish each day with our children while we can. They grow up so fast but some never get to grow up.

In my comment to Julie it should have said death and not dead.
Also I forgot to mention when Justin was 10 mos old he had open heart surgery to repair a heart condition. He was in the hospital for one month after his surgery. He also had eye surgery at 13 mos. During his young years he had stitches in his head twice, two broken arms, a broken leg. He had been through so much but he was always a happy smiling baby. I was so blessed to have had him in my life. He loved his sisters but did have little tiffs with them as sibilings do. He's our angel in heaven now. #902842

Kay, this is a very moving tribute to your wonderful son. I have a 7 year old son, and cannot image the pain you have suffered because of his loss. Your story has touched me and I'm sure it will touch many others. Blessings and peace to you in your great losses.

Thank you Dale Ann. We never know what a day will bring it may be something good or tragic. God must have wanted to call my son home for some reason but its hard to understand. With the faith I have I know I'll see him someday along with my husband of 27 years and my father.

My heart goes out to you for what you have been through and are going through.

My Dad was big on photography and he is gone. I treasure photos from past and present.

I know we can't take stuff with us when we go but when we are together again in Heaven photos won't be important.

Kay, what a beautiful way to share your love of your son. So happy you are sharing his life and memories with others. My mom died last year and her birthday is tomorrow, sure is hard letting go, isn't it! But as the butterfly that is stuck in the cocoon,

Hi Kay...I just realized how similar our situations are. I to have two beautiful daughters and am struggling to help them adjust to the loss of their only brother.

Thank you Marta. Hope things will get better for you and your family Marta. Since it hasn't been long since you lost your son things will be very up and down. We will never get over the loss of our sons. We are in that special group. I read someting before from someone that that is a group no one should have to be in. You keep up the faith also.
