A capture of my eldest cat, Pussle.
At twelve years of age, Pussle is the stalwart of my feline family. Through thick and thin Pussle has stuck by me. People speak of the faithfulness of dogs, but a cat knows faithfulness as well. But where a dog is programed for it, the cat has the gift of choice. I am blessed that Pussle continues to choose me and it has only been in recent times where I very nearly let her down that I realised that I must never allow it.
Canon 24-70 L lens at 70mm,ISO 200, f4.5, 1/640 sec
Photoshop work: cropped, desaturated, history brush on eyes, work in layers with masks (the background was eliminated with the use of the threshold application, bucket fill and paint brush), blur, curves, selective colour.
