It's a fantastic macro, Rachel. But are you sure it's a damaselfly? It's face definitely looks like an immature mantis to me.Still, I love it!

Note to Michelle. You got me wondering about the mantis possibility. I had to hunt down some immature mantis photos on the net. I would tend to agree with Rachel on the ID because the photos I saw have much more triangular shaped heads than this one, plus they don't appear to be nearly as hairy as the damselfly. #5847968Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
