Extreme Focus
Description: Bald Eagle at the Cincinnati Zoo. 300mm zoom lens, tripod, 400 speed film. Taken on a cold wintery day when I was the only visitor around. He came up and perched on the rail right in front of me (no glass or fencing between us) Luckily, I was able to back up quickly enough to get a couple of shots! (although it was a little unnerving having such a huge bird flying straight at me!) :)
