Description

This photo was taken in September 2002 when I visited Bellfonte, Pa. This is the house where I lived when I was under five years old.
I imported the photo into Painter and used the various painting tools to create a hand painted image. This was meticulous work and took long days to complete.

What an incredible outcome ,Melissa!!! It shows that you have spend many hours at this phenomenal job!!! It must mean a lot to you to have even attempted this!!! I understand though that you have an emotional attachment to the house you once lived in!!!
I often think of the house I grew up in but it is no longer standing & it is sad that I do not even have a picture of it!!! I have made several attempts to draw & paint it but never got that serious about it!!! there is some kind of attempt,haha, in my gallery on an entry called'Missing Home", Thank you Melissa for bringing up those memories!!! #5659596
