Hi James! This is a less common view and subject... Besides the undeniable beauty of the colors and composition, it captures so soulfully the spirit of the Tibetan people... The purity that emanates from it is breathtaking. It makes me wonder how does it feel to actually be there?...

digital photo. taken while on mountaineering expedition in nepal. the individual in the picture is a sherpa porter taking a rest at the top of a high altitude pass. the flags are tibetan/buddhist prayer flags which are thought to spread prayers over the land as the wind blows through them.
