Thanks so much Marina. I wish I could get people to pose for me as easily as these flowers did so I could make an attempt to get beautiful portraits like those that fill your wonderful gallery. #5528605

Thanks Laura. I can see the face in your latest entry also. You have an active imagination and a good eye. Love the colors in the background also, a pleasant surprise. #5528612

Anna, I'm so glad you commented and thank you. I have been wanting to ask you about your black and white techniques. I have not been able to achieve such high contrast. Do you do this in camera and if so at what settings, or do you use post processing? And again if so, would you mind sharing the procedure? Thanks, Dale #5528631

Thank you Sam. the flowers in your gallery are a real inspiration. I can see so many ways to pursue. #5531455

Hi Susan. The lighting here is natural light on my patio. I placed the flowers on a chair and leaned a board covered with black velvet behind them. The only other thing was a slight crop and levels adjustment on the glass area. #5531474

Thanks Tiia. I enjoyed your latest entry to your gallery. I can see blue eyes staring at me as if behind a mask in the upper right quadrant. Your imagination is boundless. #5531496

Hi Barbara. Thanks for the kind comments. I know you like shooting flowers so will have to see if I can do another. Hope this one wasn't just a fluke. By the way, the arrangement was unaltered. This is just the way the bulbs grew after we purchased them a couple of weeks ago. #5531522
