Thanks everyone!!! I have several feeders in my yard - and a large tree near them. It seems that the birds like to sit in the tree and check out the feeders. They are very particular about where they will eat -- I put a feeder in another part of the yard and they didn't go there. Keep trying spots in your yard - and I use bird seed with several kinds of seeds and dried cherries in it. I buy it at Wal Mart :o) And I built a small blind so the birds can't see me -- #5454986
