Description

The Decorated Forest 1:
I love to see trees heavy with white snow or to feel the quiet of the woods during a heavy and soft snowfall. I am always moved by the shapes of the branches and the differences in pattern from tree to tree. I like the stark contrast of the white with the dark greens and browns of the trees underneath. I also like the naturally diffused filter the moisture in the snow creates in the air. This photo shows that moisture (in the form of mist rising from the warming ground). 1/1000s @ f/18, -1, ISO 160, 75mm.
