Thanks to all of you for your support. This was my first experiment, I plan to improve upon the lighting and a few other details, and retake these and similar pictures with the sibling too. #816569Brenda M. Wolfensberger October 01, 2004
Great job Steve. I'm sure it helps to have such a willing model. She's a doll. I love the way it turned out and that it is B&W. I really love B&W prints.Renee Luba April 29, 2005
This is great, Steve...how did you do it? What is she standing in? #1304839Steve Kazemir May 02, 2005
Thnaks for the comment Renee. I built a frame out of 2x4's, painted it black, and had her standing in it. I needed to use some post processing to make the frame completely black, as it had shades of dark grey in the original. #1311639Renee Luba May 02, 2005
Thanks for the info, Steve. Wow, I thought that, maybe, you "fudged" it in Photoshop. You are very creative. I'm thinking of seeing if I can try this with one of my 4 kids, but maybe trying to "fake" it in Photoshop by having them stand in a door frame and do some trickery... #1312350Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
