Eye on the Puck

Uploaded: January 24, 2008 11:58:30

Description

135 f/2 lens.
Wide open, no cropping. I have others with better background blur, but I like how his skates and legs are out of focus. The movement of the puck and ice show that this was caught in the middle of a fall yet his eyes are still on that puck.

Exif: F Number: 2, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/400 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 1250, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 135.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark III

Awesome shot - the white uniform on white ice and all that action. Not an easy shot - but you've captured it spot on #5387786
