THE RED BUCKET

Uploaded: January 14, 2008

Description

While wandering around the Casino at Sam's Town I noticed the cooks setting up the buffet line and getting ready for the morning rush. In the midst of the hustle someone had failed to remove a red bucket from one of the tables and it caught my eye. To accent the sureal mood I added a little line filtering and simplification.

Thanks Lee. The mood struck me so well also that my wife and I ate there twice that day. By the way, congratulations on your finalist award for "Portable Garden" A beautiful shot. Dale #5339307

Appreciate your kind response Michelle. It gave me an oppotunity to review your gallery once again. "Little Chapel at Lake Afton" is my kind of image. Loved it. Dale #5339323

Thanks you Kay and Deb. Sam's town is a nice quite place to stay when in Vegas and the fact that we get free room comps helps a lot! But I have to take the wife out of town for a photo shoot on the second day of our stay to save money on the slots. Dale #5345344

Thanks Lawrence. You're no slouch yourself. "The Joshua Tree" has the perfect treatment to make an ordinary shot have that "special" look. It also shows that not all shots need the "rule of thirds" to be successful. Nicely done. Dale #5353381

Thanks a lot Lonnie. Love the new posts on your gallery also. The iron worker really rung a chord since I just recently posted an image form Vegas showing construction workers on a new high rise. #5396323
