Rushmore Unvieled

Uploaded: September 23, 2004

Description

I was disappointed to arrive at Mt. Rushmore to find the presidents no where in sight, but they did gradually and briefly appear before I left.

Marvelopus collage, Carol, I love the presentation and composition. I thought of ' turning pure water into fine wine' but the result is still very patiently miraculous, my dear friend - your good friend, Allan #799093

Hi bill, Terry, Robin, Donna, Dale, Ellen, Dolores, Diane, Colette, Claudia, Cathy, K, Carolyn, Allan, Sanjay, and Mary. Thanks for each of your comments. :-)

I took each of these pictures and a few others thinking it might be the best shot I would get. I'm glad I got to see it clearly for a few minutes, and having these partially obscured shots turned out to be quite fun. #803287

Hi Carol, Nice shot. Love how you put everything together.
My husband and I were at Mt. Rushmore on June 9 2004. We had the same problem. We waited around for hours and hours until we could see it. We were glad we hung around. A lot of people left. After driving there from Florida we didn't want to miss it because we may never get back there again. It was a beautiful sight to see. Now when we see it on t.v. we can say we were there.
We would have liked it to be a beautiful sunny day but at least we saw it.
Did you get to see a mountain goat walking around? He was really neat. I have a picture of him on my gallery.

Hi Kay Thanks for your comment. It sounds like you could really relate to this picture. I'm glad you got to see Mt Rushmore. I had never thought about not being able to see it till I got there and couldn't! Didn't see any mountain goats--I will have to check out yours in your gallery.
