I just love this, Mel. The subject is simple yet striking and the overall composition is excellent--this really flows. The dusting of snow on the sides of the posts gives them an additional dimension and softens them without detracting in the least from their strong, vertically linear presence. I like the little clump of grass in the foreground and the glimpse of lake behind. Lots of interest here and the tones are wonderful--you know I love black and white and this is a perfect capture for the conversion. For my money, this is great. I would crop it 5x7, have it printed, and put it in a fairly wide but simple plain black frame and hang it--it would really make a statement. #5308618
