Very hard to do from this angle - you found the compromise, Carol!

Thank you Damian, birdie, Gary, Jimmy, Carolyn and Jill. You have all made my day. I think I have found the perfect window to use for indoor flower pictures. #20768

Robert Pranagal May 26, 2019

Yes, the image is terrific. And the DOF!
What settings did you use? #20808

Carol Engstrom level-classic May 26, 2019

Thanks Robert! I took this with my digital camera in macro mood using window light and no flash. Settings were f2,8, 1/200 shutter speed, with an ISO of 100. #20813

Robert Pranagal May 26, 2019

it's magic of digital...
had I shot this at 2,8 with my 35mm film camera the DOF would be ZERO... #20832

Carol Sherman May 26, 2019

Carol, it's a spectacular macro...WOW!!!
Love the comp, colour and clarity as well. Thanks for providing the info. #20834

Carol Engstrom level-classic May 26, 2019

Thanks Carol--I'm glad to give the info.
Robert--the digital settings are definetly different from regular SLRs. It's a little confusing to me sometimes, but luckily my digital has a great auto mode, and then it is fairly easy for me to make changes from there if needed. #20837
