MOON OVER INYO VALLEY

Inyo Valley on Hiway 395 to Bishop is often treated as a desolate lonely, boring place to drive. However, I find it beautiful and serene as it starts out in the foothills as in this picture and then graduates to the majesty of the Sierra mountains covered with snow farther north.
