On the first anniversary of 9/11, a pair of tribute beams of light projected from the Ground Zero sight and I wanted to capture the essence of the event.
Taken in color, I should have taken in account the white balance/color temperature. Though the composition is strong, the bridge was flooded with fluorescent-like lighting and resulted in this greenish tone that can be corrected in PS.. Additionally, there are artifacts present due to use of the lowest picture quality of 3megapixels, low lighting and the presence of noise. No tripod was used, but I placed camera on a suspension cable for stability on an constantly vibrating bridge structure. This was a challenge to capture.
Initially, I wasnít sure if the depth of field is more appealing by showing more clarity on the foreground cable or on the face of the bridge, so Iíve chosen the bridge More sharpness is needed on the bridge since it takes up most of the image space. Strong potential possibilities.
