Wow, what a Christmas present you got 12 years ago! And what a doll! I hope she likes modeling for you, she is a great portrait subject and photographs so well! Do you have Dreamsuite? If so try making a new layer, go to Dreamsuite and adjust the image the way you like, then go to erase and erase her eyes, nostrils, mouth and eyebrows back in at about 50% I love to do portraits of girls in the soft mode! #5173095

Thanks so much!

Joannie, I don't have Dreamsuite, but I can also accomplish some of the effects with layers in Paint Shop Pro. I've done that with other shots of Kimberly, but was fine with this one. It's going on our Christmas cards. #5173596

Beautiful portrait of your beautiful daughter, Margie!!! She looks so relaxed and comfortable. Well, I imagine Mommy must've been doing this for 12 years :)
Love the way the light seems to reflect on her face. Great job!!!

Thanks so much, Cesar! Nope, Mommy hasn't been with a camera for very long...and truth be told...Kimberly doesn't like when I ask her to model for me! She is pretty good for all of 5 minutes! Glad I got this one so quickly in our shoot. #5189378

Well, you made the most of those five minutes! Another great portrait from you, Margie! #5218767

Kimberly is a lovely young lady and you have a beautiful portrait here, Margie. I love that it is so natural looking. Her hair seems to sparkle (beyond its lovely healthy sheen)--was it misty out when you shot this?
Easy to see why it's a favorite and I wish you good luck. #5368474

Thanks so much, Nikki! It was a very bright sunny day out when I shot this photo. I did have her hold a diffuser over her face just to her left so the direct sun didn't hit her. The white in the background was snow. #5369366
