POWER STRUGGLE - WIND VS DIESEL
Uploaded: December 03, 2007
While driving to Palm Springs one morning, I noticed a long train rolling past the windmill farm and couldn't help but realize the conflict that was pictured there.
The environmental concerns in todays world promted me to stop and snap off a quick long distance shot to document the struggle.

Excellent image! I love the muted tones in the BG, really makes the beautiful tones and color of the train and foreground pop! Love those windmills too...an amazing contrast of man-made "power!" Congrats on EFP. Lynn #5213208Dale Hardin December 16, 2007
Thank you Lynn. I was out for a morning shoot of the windmills and was just going back to the motel when I noticed the train and just hade enough time to get this long distance shot.Loved all your new entries in your gallery. "Last Run" is expecially nice. Dale #5214249
