Cat & Mouse

Uploaded: December 02, 2007

Description

Although the listing says this was taken with a Canon AE-1, the truth is I no longer remember what kind of camera it was. This was back in 1987. I borrowed a camera to shoot the first roll of b&w film that I would develop. The film got stuck going onto the reel, so I finally cut it and put the second half on a second reel. Fortunately, the negative that was cut was the one next to this one and not this one! Oh, and for the record, that IS a real mouse. His name was Roland the Rodent.

Great capture! I hope that the cat didnt turn Roland the Rodent into his dinner! #799360

No, Roland was safe. The cat, Zeppelin, was surprisingly gentle. When this shot was taken, she was just patting him to get him to move again. Of course, I don't know what would have happened without supervision. But as it was, the pair got along great. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! #5159809
