Description

This tomb is related to the 7th century AH.Habaqooq Nabi was one of the prophets of Hebrew, the keeper of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem.
He lived at the end of "Yushiahu" kingdom, contemporary with prophet Danial and Elias.After the conquest of Babylon by Cyrus the great, Habaqooq migrated to Iran accompanied with some of his disciples and settled in Towiserkan ans he was buried there after his death.This structure is tower-like and made of brick.It's an octagonal structure with a pyramidal dome of 160 sides.Habaqooq Mausoleum has been registered as an Iranian Historical Monument No.969145 dated 1975.Tech data:68mm FL, F/8, 4S.
