What a GREAT Capture Steven !! I got a few snaps of some babies in a nest in my laundry room earlier this year....I got attacked every load I washed until finally one morning they were all out of the nest and flying and then gone the next day, can't wait until next year to see if I get some better shots...LIKE YOURS HERE! Fantastic...

Excellent capture of these little birds...amazing detail and clarity, Steve. I live in Indianapolis and I love the Art MUseum....never saw any baby birds....I'll have to look closer. #5277408

Mitch Spence level-addict 1/1/2008 12:57:14 PM

Gosh, this is nice. I find myself wondering where you found the stepladder. I'll always remember the blue jay mom that darned near killed herself diving at my cat in the window, thinking she was somehow a threat, way there inside the house. So I understand about retreating from mom birds. #5277531

Chris Ebben 1/1/2008 7:58:44 PM

How perfect, Steven! We have lots of nests, but none that have human access. What a beautiful, uplifting image in the midst of all this winter! #5280303

This is such a great shot, Steven. It looks like those little birds thought you were their mommy and opened wide for their lunch.:) Awesome. I really like your gallery -- all the color and the eclectic feel to it. Thanks for your kind comment on my In Memory pic. Deb.
Oh, and I've been chased by mommy birds before -- not pleasant. :) #5343780

Jennifer A. Lambert 1/15/2008 10:28:09 AM

You should really enter this in the new is such a fabulous shot !!! The colors are spectacular and all the baby birds are in unison...I think you could win with this one ! ( As well as many of your other shots ! )

Had a nice neighbor lady over last night and she and I were looking through galleries of my new BP friends. She especially liked this one. It really is a rare opportunity to climb a ladder and get a shot like this. You hit it at just the right moment. Are you still in band aides?-Laura Swan #5490477
