Description

Raw capture.ISO 100 .3 s at f22 (-1 exp) 175 mm (70-210 lens) On tripod, (Polarizer was probably still on). Windy day so leaves have movement.
I chose this as an example of asymmetrical balance with Negative space - The large dark area of the background on the right balances the visual weight of the tree trunk. The staggered mirrored curves of the ivy on the trunk lead the viewer back to the tree as does the shadow from the trunk and the curve of the highlighted branch at the top right.
