Thanks, Richard! I used my Nikon 80-400mm VR zoom. The settings were ISO 250. 1/250, f/8. I always use shutter priority when shooting wildlife. #5100669

thank you bob, might be interreted in a longer zoom I have the 18 200mm , can you suggest which one and about what it should go for , I would like to shoot some wildlife shots also., also did you use a tripod for that shot . #5100791

My shot was hand held. With the VR lens it is easy to hand hold these shots.
The 80-400 VR is about $1700. #5100957
