Description

A patch of zinnias still in bloom due to our warm fall weather this year...105mm macro lens, f4.0, 1/400s. Slightly cropped and applied impressionist plug in to full res image background using sponge daubs with custom color black, resized and sharpened.

Thanks very much Karolyn...the impressionist plug-in is fun to try out with all the different art styles...a lot of trial and error depending on the subject. For this image, after some initial adjustments with levels and curves, I did a quick mask selection of the foreground flower and de-selected to work on the background applying the stamp sponge daubs-fine using the custom color black...Brush-100, Coverage-98, and Pressure-100. I flattened the image and after resizing, sharpened to get more defintion in the "painted background". Glad you like it and really appreciate your time to comment! :) #4908489
