Description

What a great trip!!! 10.5 mile hike from the truck. This was the last lake that we camped at in the Mallard-Larkins. On the way out I twisted my knee and had to walk out all the way. In this area there are no roads and we only saw a couple people in the week that we were in there. When you get hurt in the Larkins you either hike out with the group or you wait until someone comes and gets you. The 2 friends that I went with wouldn't leave me in there by myself, so I had to walk out on a bad leg. It took 2 days to get out, but we made it!

Great photograph!! Awesome landscape, I just love the reflection in the water.. It looks like a very quiet and peaceful place.

Kind regards,

Sabrina,
This is the quietest and the most remote place that I have ever been in my life. This was the only morning that wasn't to cold to get out of bed at sunrise to take a few pictures. Thanks for the comment! #4726827

Thank you Carolyn. It really is a dangerous place to get hurt and I'm just glad I didn't make my friends mad while I was up there. #4807582
