A very interesting and original image. Very nice colours and composition. (PS I hope the water didn't hurt they shoes. They look like a very nice pair.) #628892

Nice picture. Believe it or not this image is very atractive and sexy for a lot of people like me. But, watching it from a logic perspective, what's the reason to be with those expensive shoes in the water, and not barefoot? #629008

Excellent shot! #629048

yes, very different from anything i've seen in a long time. I like it. #629141

I would have liked this better without the shoes - that seems so self-indulgent and wasteful while cooling one's feet while the hair dangles and the fingers trail in the water can be so sensual...if you meant this as a commentary, it is brilliant as it really got a rise out of me! Ahh, tell me it's a commentary :) #629164

Excellent fun, Attila. Cooling abandonment. #629457

Joey Adam Kulkin level-classic 7/3/2004 7:14:23 AM

But Bonnie, the shoes add intrigue, like, Was she on a break from work, typing endless pages of legalese and she needed to cool herself down ... or did she just get back from a lunch where her boyfriend broke up with her' and so she's cleansing off his residue ... or, is it a guy dressed in drag? Commentary or not, it's a great shot. #629733

Hi Everyone,
First of all, thanks for your comments and for your nice thoughts.
There is no need to worry about the shoes; they did not get hurt. :-)My wife has absurd ideas sometimes and does things they are pretty cool, unique and cute. This was one of them. I picked her up from work, and we had a closed road ahead, so we had to take a new direction. She was walking a lot that day and had the desire to see a "close up" of that fountain. :-) It was a great afternoon, hot and sunny and she loves the water.:-)
Take care.
Regards, Attila

This is excellent, Attila.
A beautiful photo well worthy of a wet pair of shoes.
Very much deserving of the recognition and win.

This is so unique, creative, and incredible. Love the dash of red from the shoes, and all of the other elements-- the pose, the hair, and water... add a little bit of sexiness. Great eye to see this-- I LOVE it!! Congratulations!!

Fine shoes be darned, I'm going to cool off! I like this a lot, for its "devil may care" attitude. The framing is excellent, along with the unexpected element of the obvious business attire, the lady's hair hanging into the frame is very effective. Great shot! #736918

OH NO! THE POOR SHOES! psyche! just kidding! ;-P

one would only have to look at the shoes to realize they must be vinyl or plastic, or rubber. or something. and besides... what woman would go ruining a good pair of shoes?! hehe ;-)

i immediately thought it had seductive qualities and liked the classy style.

i do however think maybe a bit more thigh to be shown, in the upper right corner... might have made it better? or.. nothing at all in that corner?

regardless.. it's a well deserved award for a great image!

cheers! :-) #772556
