Thank you very much Shelly, Eliane, Joerg, and Angela - I appreciate your feedback. This was a super fun and satisfying image capture. Earlier that day, I noticed this scene happening with a passerby - a stranger - and took a picture. So when my wife and I went out to dinner that night, I tried it again for a more personal memento. If you get a chance, try this. All you need is a tripod, a model willing to stay still for a bit, and several slow exposures, and a fast moving background. I recommend experimenting with shutter speeds around 1/4 second to 1 second or more. #5009325

Creative image and I think the composition of negative space showing motion really works well here. JQ #5092325

I tried to do this when I get the chance to be in a city with a Sub :o) but cannot get this result yet...great movement sensation on this excellent exposure!
