Description

Was reworked, Re-submitted into a wrong catagory.
Re-summiting to animal's.
This is my dog Barney and is/will be approximtly 11 yrs old.
I will have him 5 yrs. come Sept.
I got him from the Humane Society 2002 as they think he had been beaten and was found running.
They brought him out and he jumped in my arms and laid his head on my shoulder,
he had then won me over right there on the spot.
My best friend Frank was with me and he KNEW Barney was going to be the one for me.
Barney became one of Frank's best buddies.
He loves rides, treats and talks to me with sneezes, does not like loud noises, especially thunderstorms
He is my best buddy and goes everywhere he can go with me.
He get's to go to town everyday with my husband to get lottery ticket's and a treat from the Beverage Mart.
He be one spoiled baby!

Hello Sam, thanks so very much. Barney tolerates the cats lol. The cats LOVE Barney, very intriged by him I think, though he don't like to be bothered when he is sleeping, then he get's a little tempermental with them.
He took over the cat basket, that's HIS bed lmao.
The cat's are always rubbibg up against him and try to stay with him side by side and wrap their tails around him, it is cute to watch them.

Oh My Gosh!!!
Peaches!!! What a wonderful friend!!! I am one that supports adopting from the humane society....I have a dog from there myself and they are DEFINATELY the BEST!!! So loving and GRATEFUL that they have found a home!!! Excellent portrait of such a sweet dog....Barney is VERY LUCKY to have you!!!!

Thanks so very much Jeana, he is a GREAT buddy. I love taking him everywhere with me, especially to get his puppy cups from the ice cream place, they love him there. Then we go sit down at the pond and watch geese and eat and shoot photo's of them.
I made him a seat to fit over my jeep seat so he can see out the window lol.
Best thing I ever did was get him. I really couldn't ask for a better dog than him. Smart too! #4575889

Tony, thanks so very much. You know, Frank and I went to the Humane Society for three days looking at dogs, Barney wasn't there, they went to another place in town that I never knew they had and went nd got him while I was there just so I could see him...they went out of there way.
I wanted to take him right then and there after he jumped in my arms and laid his head on my shoulder, but had to wait until Monday so they could call my vet and verify I took care of my pet's.
I didn't want to leave him there another day and asked if I called my vet and had him call them, could I take him home the next day. They finally said yes after much persistance.
I called my vet at home seeing is they were closed for the weekend and he was ever so helpful so I could get him.
I did get to pick him up the next day.
They even came to my house 2 weeks later to pick him up to take him to the vet in another town to have him fixed, and even brought him back.
So just to show everyone, The Humane Society WILL help to do whatever it takes to get a good home for pet's.
I was VERY pleased with our's.
