talking about close up! #131300Yvonne C. Smith May 25, 2004
Not with the 300mm 4.0 lens. I can get no closer than 11 feet to focus with that lens. I could get up close and personal with my 100 Macro, but as scared of me as the snake was, it wouldn't go for that. The snake is a harmless, non-venomous black snake that was scared of me. #559547Cynthia M. Anning May 25, 2004
Close is relative in this situation. Even eleven feet and one inch is too close if the snake is looking at me like that - Great job! #560360Yvonne C. Smith May 26, 2004
Point taken. Thanks, Cindy! #560611Yvonne C. Smith May 26, 2004
Woops! I was wrong about the focus distance of my 300mm lens. Don't want to be guilty of giving wrong information! The focus distance of the 300mm is 4 1/2 to 5 feet, not 11 feet. #561147Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
