I list photo contests there too. BP is too much a mutual admiration society for me. the same people always win the awards and 90percent of the people are just plain overlooked. and then there are those who happily go around stamping idiotic compliments on bad images because they do it habitually and flatter each other with false praises.
and none of this intersts me.
so BP promotes a few choice poeple over all those others that aare equally or more deserving, but I don't need it in my face.
and maybe BOP just doesn't want the expense or bothersome duty to recognize folks for their abilities when its so much easier just to hand the cookie plate around to a few close buddies. I don't know, but I dislike mutual ad societies and keep out of it.
