I liked the curved diagonal lines made by the tulip petals and the texture of the petals (which also shows lines). 1/20s @ f/11, exp. comp. -.33, ISO 250, 105mm.

Yes, I saw on your site that you also like to shoot flowers with texture. I am always looking for ways make the flowers look as I see them, but I have varying degrees of success.
For this paricular shot, I simply brought the tulip inside and placed it on a table near a window with lots of natural light streaming in and took some shots of it. It was already leaning over on the plant, so I was able to get this under-shot without trying too hard to get a good angle. I have tried to do that more often...bring the flowers inside since the texture can just not show up well when it is competing with too much sunlight or too much blue shade.
